Forward tees are not much different in length than white or blue on many holes...makes for challenging distances for most women

Municipal golf course. Great deal for seniors. Plus, in warmer weather, they have a nice patio.

One of the better maintained courses owned by the City of Denver, though because of a leak in the lake the 1st and the 10th holes have had some problems down at the bottom of the hill. This course has to be played more than once to enjoy the subtle nuances that Donald Ross built into it. Though I am sure Mr. Ross did not originally have as many trees as it does now. Though the trees make it a harder course to play, if you are not hitting it straight, they give the course a very old & classy feel to it.

Fairways/greens in only fair condition. Lots of thin places on the fairways.

Actual Green Fees for 2007 was $23 on weekends for 18 holes. I play this course a lot and find the staff to be accomodating and friendly. The course could play tougher, but for a muni, it is a great value.

I'm surprised there aren't more reviews for this course given its popularity. It is a fun layout in fairly good condition when you consider that is basically busy 24/7. If you want o to get someone hooked on gold, bring them here! When you are walking down number three with the trees lining the fairway and the beautiful Rockies in the background, it just doesn't get any better! I try to play this course at least a few times a year, always a pleasure!
